Sit down with your spouse and listen to this show again on parenting-matters.com. Click on “Audio Blog”.
Pay special attention to the verse from my favorite philosopher, Dr. Seuss. Then picture the loud and the quite “Critters” as you sons. How would you and your spouse deal with them?
Next, discuss what you would do if the Quite one was you son and the other a friend. How would you handle the friend in your home?
Now, turn the picture around and discuss what would you do if the Loud one was you son and the Quite on was his guest?
